Is there a FinPal app?
Yes, in the way that matters. There is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play. FinPal is a web app that adds to your home screen in seconds and runs full screen, just like a native app, on iPhone, Android, and desktop.
No download, no app store, no waiting. Open finpalapp.com, add it to your home screen, and FinPal behaves exactly like an installed app: full screen, a tap away, with push notifications. It updates itself automatically, works across every device you sign in on, and keeps your subscription cheaper.
Add FinPal to your home screen

Why FinPal is web-based
I first built FinPal to live on my phone, and there are still traces of that native app on the Google Play store. What changed my mind was the app store's 30% cut. On every subscription they keep 30% and I keep the rest, and the price is already set to just about cover what FinPal costs me to run.
To still take home the same amount after their cut, I would have had to charge you around $11.41 instead of $7.99, roughly 43% more, because the store takes its share off the top. Raising your price like that, to hand the difference to someone else, never sat right with me.
So FinPal lives in your browser. You add it to your home screen once and it behaves like any app you have installed, with push notifications and the works. You will not feel the difference. What you will feel is the price, right where it should be.
Max, founder of FinPalQuestions about the app
Is there a FinPal app?
There is no FinPal app to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and you do not need one. FinPal is a web app: open finpalapp.com and add it to your home screen, and it runs full screen just like a native app on iPhone, Android, and desktop.
How do I install FinPal on my iPhone?
Open finpalapp.com in Safari, tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. FinPal opens full screen from your home screen, exactly like an installed app.
How do I install FinPal on Android?
Open finpalapp.com in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, choose Add to Home screen or Install app, then confirm. FinPal installs and behaves like any other app.
Does the FinPal web app send push notifications?
Yes. Once you add FinPal to your home screen, it can send push notifications for your reminders and milestones, the same as a native app would.
Why is FinPal not on the App Store or Google Play?
To keep your price down. The app stores take 30% of every subscription, and because that cut comes off the top, covering it would push $7.99 to about $11.41, roughly 43% more, for the exact same FinPal. Staying web-based is what keeps it affordable.
